ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER
YVETTE FREEMAN
I started Red Angle Photography in 2016, after nearly 20 years in communications (radio, TV, newspaper, and public relations) and 11 years in higher education publishing sales. That background taught me how to connect with people, and how to help them feel at ease in front of a camera or a microphone.
Over the years I've photographed everything from families and graduating seniors to events and beloved family pets. But photographing people is where I find the most joy. And that says a lot, because I'm actually an introvert! There's something about the interaction, about watching someone's face change when they see their images for the first time. So many of my clients tell me they never thought of themselves as photogenic, only to realize they simply hadn't been photographed by the right photographer yet. I believe everyone can be captured beautifully in the right hands, and I hope to be that photographer for you.
I've earned 18 image competition awards, and in July 2023, I received an Honorable Mention in the Prix de la Photographie Paris (PX3), a prestigious international juried competition based in Paris, France.
But none of that matters if I can't help you feel comfortable, confident, and relaxed enough to actually enjoy your portrait session with me. That's my real goal: not just capturing great images, but creating an experience you'll love, and actually want to repeat.
I don't just want to be your photographer. I want to be the one you rave about to your friends, family, and colleagues.
CLIENT TESTIMONIAL
"As the owner of Red Angle Photography, Yvette possesses a rare and powerful gift. She doesn’t just take photographs; she captures the very soul of a brand, the authentic emotion of a moment, and the unspoken story behind a person’s vision. Her work is a masterclass in visual communication. With an artist’s eye for light and composition and an empathetic heart, she creates a space where her clients feel seen, understood, and empowered. The resulting images are not just beautiful—they are strategic assets that enable businesses to connect with their audience on a deeply authentic level. You can immediately see the quality and feel the passion she pours into every single frame."
