AM I THE RIGHT PHOTOGRAPHER FOR YOU?
As much as I look forward to working with you, the fact is, I may not be the right photographer for you.
My goal is to ensure that you, your family, and I all have the best experience possible. Portrait sessions are very personal, and we should both feel comfortable, and at ease throughout the entire process. In most cases, most of the people I've photographed have become more than just clients...they have become my friends. And I want you to have that same experience.
Just because I may have skills, talent, and portfolio that meet your needs, the truth is, our values and thought-process must also align. Therefore, if you AGREE with all or most of the following statements, then, chances are, we'll be besties by the end of your session.
- I want authentic images of myself and my loved ones vs AI-generated images.
- I want to decorate my home with beautiful wall art that features me and my family.
- I want beautiful, long-lasting heirlooms and keepsakes.
- I am willing to invest my time, energy, and money in beautiful, carefully crafted portraits.
- I believe photography is a form of art, not just someone pressing a button on a camera.
- Quality of work, skills, and talent are my primary criteria for choosing a photographer, vs price alone.
CLIENT TESTIMONIAL
"I had such an amazing time shooting with Yvette. She made me feel so comfortable and helped pose me in a way to make sure I like the way I looked in the pictures. Getting the photos back I was just floored. I really felt like I looked like myself and like my best self in those pictures. She shot my business headshots and I would recommend her to any individual or company looking for the same!"

WHAT TO EXPECT
STEP 1: CALL AND BOOK YOUR SESSION
First, we'll start by having a no-obligation consultation call, either via phone or Google Meet, to discuss your goals for a portrait session - how the images will be used, what you want them to say about you and/or your family, and your timeframe and budget. We'll also go through your pricing menu, from which you'll choose one or more options. If you decide to move forward with a session, we'll choose a session date, time, and location, and you'll pay the Creative Fee with a credit card over the phone.
STEP 2: CONSULTATION
Once your session is booked and on my calendar, I'll email you a pdf of my Portrait Session Preparation Guide to give you some tips on how to get ready for your session. We'll also schedule a pre-session consultation to discuss your wardrobe, hair and makeup ideas, and any props you might want to incorporate into your session. Unfortunately, I do not provide hair and makeup services. But, I strongly suggest you have professional hair and makeup done prior to your session so that you'll look your absolute best.
STEP 3: SESSION DAY
I'll arrive at your session location at least 30-60 minutes prior to the start of your session to set up lighting and any backdrops. When you arrive - at least 15 minutes prior to the start of your session - we'll go over any last minute wardrobe ideas. Then, I'll guide you carefully and thoughtfully through poses and expressions that will flatter you and actually make you look and feel as comfortable as possible.
Throughout the shoot, my camera will wirelessly transfer the images to my iPad or laptop so we can adjust poses and lighting in real time. This will allow you to make sure the images captured match the vision you have for your session.
Immediately after your shoot, we'll review your unedited images, and you'll select your favorites for purchase and editing, as necessary, and schedule an in-person Image Reveal & Ordering meeting. Please allow up to one hour following your session to choose your images.
STEP 4: IMAGE REVEAL
This is when you'll get to see your edited/retouched images, review my product list again, and then select and pay for the items you'd like to order. I'll then design your album(s) and/or wall art, which may take up to two weeks, and send to my professional print lab(s) for production. Typically, lab products are completed and shipped to me within 10 days. However, delivery times will vary based on the products purchased.
STEP 5: DELIVERY
Once your products are delivered to me, we'll schedule a time for me to hand-deliver them to you. If you ordered just digitals only, you'll receive a download link as soon as they have been edited.
